Accessibility
Mikumi National Park is easily accessible by car, with a 4-hour drive from Dar-es-salaam via the Bagamoyo road and A7. Alternatively, visitors can take scheduled flights from Dar-es-salaam and other centers.

Weather
The park experiences two main seasons: the wet season from November to May, and the dry season from June to October. The dry season is the best time for wildlife viewing, while the wet season is ideal for birdwatching.
